The team at Blackwood Architecture, in collaboration with our co-founder Matt Martino – a celebrated designer himself – have crafted a series of homes each distinct from one another. With no two floor plans the same, and an architecture and style that varies across each home, what has been created is a collection of related residences with their own individuality.

Arrayed across two levels, each home features four bedrooms that offer flexible uses – one bedroom might become a media room for one owner, a home office for another, or a guest room for someone else perhaps. A private pool and double garage in each home complements the generosity of space.

“These residences have been beautifully designed for this climate – there is nowhere else these homes could exist except Noosa,” says Martino. “Each home is designed to offer space that goes beyond the walls, with expansive sliding glass doors that almost disappear, bringing the outside in and creating an incredible flow between the kitchen and outdoor undercover dining. “These are spaces that are balanced and designed to evolve as a family evolves, providing a variety of uses. We really wanted a design that is expansive, flowing between spaces seamlessly, supporting a lifestyle that is only possible in Noosa.”

Built for entertaining, the well-appointed kitchens feature porcelain benchtops, double ovens, premium Fisher & Paykel appliances and butler’s pantries for hiding away the detritus of a night of fun. Outdoor kitchens are just as well equipped with a built-in barbeque and under-bench wine fridge.

Inside and out, the Mediterranean has provided inspiration for the design approach, with the selection of natural materials and a soft colour palette in sandy coastal tones. This is expressed differently outdoors, with each home cultivating its own look from materials ranging from brickwork, timber slats and steel.
