GRAYA Appointed to build Heirloom as Rob Gray buys in
Construction has commenced at Heirloom, with leading builder Graya appointed to deliver the exclusive riverside Kangaroo Point development.
In a striking vote of confidence, Graya co-founder Rob Gray has been revealed as the buyer behind Heirloom's record-breaking first sale – acquiring a full floor apartment on level four on day one of appointments in October for $11.05 million.
The off-the-plan purchase set a new Brisbane benchmark and achieved the highest rate per internal square metre for a non-penthouse apartment in the city's history at $38,501 per square metre.
It was also the most valuable apartment transaction in Kangaroo Point outside of Sorano House's $14 million penthouse, with Heirloom's own penthouse still to come to market.
Molti Managing Director Ben Teague said Graya was the ideal partner to bring the first collaboration between bureau^proberts and Carr to life.
"Graya was a natural choice to deliver Heirloom given their exceptional track record in luxury residential construction and our shared commitment to uncompromising quality," Mr Teague said.
"Both Molti and Graya operate in the luxury segment where craftsmanship, attention to detail and design integrity are paramount. We needed a builder who understands that every element matters when you're creating homes at this level.
"Having Rob personally invest in the project on day one speaks volumes about Graya's confidence in what we're creating together. It's the ultimate endorsement."
Graya co-founder Rob Gray said Heirloom stood out as a landmark Brisbane development that would enable Graya to continue to build its leading reputation in luxury residential construction, not only development.
"Graya and Molti share a recognised commitment to quality and design excellence, making this a strong collaboration for the market and purchasers,” Mr Gray said.
"Heirloom is a building that stands apart. What Ben and the Molti team have created with bureau^proberts and Carr represents the very best of boutique luxury residential, and the Kangaroo Point riverside location is unmatched.
"We're proud to be building Heirloom, but I'm equally proud to be a purchaser here. When you're this confident in a project's quality and vision, you back it with more than just your craftsmanship - you back it with your own investment."
Heirloom has secured $21.7 million in sales since its launch, with prices starting at $9.7 million and full-floor apartments spanning approximately 340 square metres each.
Designed as expansive private sanctuaries, every residence offers four bedrooms with ensuites, two living areas and end-to-end outdoor terraces running the full length of the building.
Framing uninterrupted views of the Story Bridge, CBD and Brisbane River, each home is further elevated by refined details – from private gallery walls for statement art, to bespoke wine storage and indoor fireplaces.
Enhancing the living experience, Heirloom introduces an exclusive wellness level inspired by the world’s foremost day spas and longevity centres, designed to nurture both body and mind.
This private sanctuary offers residents access to a fully equipped gym, sauna, cold plunge, and wellness, delivering a cocooning retreat in the heart of Kangaroo Point.
“These are homes designed for longevity, with quality craftsmanship, lasting design and a deep connection to place. We know what we have created here is something people will cherish for a long time – it’s not just a property, but a legacy.”
